O Hercule Poirot é um dos detetives mais icônicos que já foram criados. Quando nós tivemos a oportunidade de transformar um livro (ou vários) em algo interativo. Agatha Christie foi a primeira escritora que veio a nossa mente.

Hercule Poirot is one of the most iconic detectives ever created. When we had the opportunity to turn a book (or several) into something interactive. Agatha Christie was the first writer that came to mind.

A primeira parte do projeto, foi fazer um e-book interativo. Como funciona? Todos os livros da Agatha Christie são um jogo de detetive. E agora com o e book interativo, você pode armazenar em um arquivo todas as pistas que você já leu dentro do livro.

The first part of the project was to make an interactive e-book. How it works? All of Agatha Christie's books are a detective game. And now with the interactive e-book, you can store all the clues you've read inside the book in a file. simple as that.

A segunda parte do projeto foi transformar esse projeto interativo em um projeto multiplataforma. E dai criamos o jogo "Poirot". A ideia é que o usuário pode escolher qual livro ela quer jogar. E a partir dai ela vai avançando pela historia do livro e com o tempo vai recolhendo pistas que vão revelando aos poucos dicas sobre o real assassino. Dai no final o jogador pode chutar entre todos os suspeitos quem foi que matou.

The second part of the project was to transform this interactive ebook into a cross-platform project. And then we created the game "Poirot". The idea is that the user can choose which book to "read". And from there she advances through the story of the book and over time she collects clues that gradually reveal hints about the real killer. Then, in the end, the player can guess among all the suspects who was the killler.

A tipografia é baseada na época em que o primeiro livro foi lançado, 1920- época do art decô. O Amarelo representa ouro, também escolhido pois era comum dentro do movimento artístico dos anos 20.

The typography is based on the time when the first book was released, 1920, the art deco era. Yellow represents gold, also chosen because it was common within the art movement of the 1920s.

A logo representar diretamente ao detetive e fazer com que o ícone do app seja facilmente reconhecível.

The logo represent the detective and make the app icon easily recognizable.
